Course outline

Course fee is AU$585. You can receive a 10% discount if you register two clinicians from the same clinic or 15% if you register 3 or more clinicians.

Course duration is from 8 am to 3:30 pm

  • Hypermobility disorders, connective tissue disorders, HSMN, JIA and m-sk disorders of childhood
  • Clinical presentation patterns
  • Case studies and red flags
  • Management of connective tissue disorders, HSMN, growth conditions, etc.
  • Management of dysfunctional gait patterns (tip toe, pigeon toe, in-turned gaits, out-turned gaits, CP)
  • Principles of flexible dynamic bracing
  • Use of dynamic bracing in gait retraining

You will be provided with workshop manuals, exercise prescription ideas, downloadable exercise and gait training programs and dynamic bracing samples  for your clinic.

Natalie has 25 years experience as a physiotherapist. Natalie founded Kidz Clinic Physiotherapy in 2008 with a focus on hypermobility disorders, abnormal walking and running styles, motor and coordination issues, musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries. Natalie is also the Director of Spiral Skins which designs flexible dynamic bracing garments for gait and postural abnormalities associated with hypermobility, coordination disorders and neurological conditions.
